GREENSBORO, NC—AIG United Guaranty,¹whose affiliate companies provide mortgage guaranty insurance designed to increase home ownership, has named Paul T. “Pete” Baynard Senior Vice President for National Accounts in its Domestic Residential Group. Baynard will manage all aspects of AIG United Guaranty's support of national lenders' integration of market strategies in all regions of the country.

According to Chris Clement, AIG United Guaranty’s Senior Vice President of Field Production and Operations, “Pete has extensive experience in mortgage insurance, mortgage lending, and builder business. He is a proven leader in our industry, and we welcome his focus on customer relationships.”

Baynard has more than 20 years of financial services leadership experience. He most recently served as the Executive Vice President of TBI Mortgage Company, a subsidiary of Toll Brothers, Inc. Prior to that position, he spent eight years with GMAC – seven of those as a Managing Director – and 12 years with GE Capital Mortgage Corporation. Baynard will be based in Dallas until he relocates to the home office in Greensboro in 2008.
