JASON BOHRER TO JOIN AIG UNITED GUARANTY
 
New Executive Vice President Will Head Up Company’s Flagship Operating Group

GREENSBORO, NC — AIG United Guaranty1 has announced that Jason Bohrer, CMB, will join the company as Executive Vice President and Group Executive of its Domestic Residential Group (DRG), the company’s flagship operating group. DRG business units provide first mortgage insurance and other financial products and services to mortgage lenders and investors nationwide. Bohrer will report to President and CEO William V. Nutt, Jr., succeeding Chris Avren, who will retire in December.

As EVP and Group Executive, Bohrer will be responsible for the growth and profitability of the DRG. His direct reports will include senior management of DRG new business production, marketing, structured products, product development, credit policy, risk management, and business operations. Bohrer most recently was Executive Vice President with SunTrust Mortgage Corporation, where he was employed from 1999 until joining AIG United Guaranty. Prior to that, he held management positions with national and regional mortgage lenders including GMAC Mortgage Corporation, Columbia National, and Dominion Bankshares Mortgage Corporation.

Bohrer has served on Freddie Mac’s Executive Advisory Board and Fannie Mae’s Eastern Region Advisory Board. He received his Certified Mortgage Banker (CMB) designation in 1992, and was elected CMB Fellow in 2004. Jason earned a B.A. in American History from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and his MBA from the Darden Graduate School of Business at the University of Virginia.
