Performance Premium Pricing and Geographic Quality Index (GQX) Updates Effective May 14, 2012
Effective May 14, United Guaranty is updating Performance PremiumSM and our Geographic Quality Index (GQXSM).
GQX will be updated for the 384 Core Based Statistical Areas (CBSAs), effective May 14.
Compared to the current GQX list (effective February 20, 2012), approximately 58 markets have improved and 7 have worsened.
United Guaranty is updating Performance Premium, our risk-based pricing, for mortgage insurance applications and rate quote requests received on or after May 14, 2012 (subject to state approval).
Don’t forget, when you use United Guaranty’s Secure Quote®, you don’t have to worry about changes to our Performance Premium model or GQX affecting the loans in your pipeline. We’ll honor the pricing and GQX in effect when your Performance Premium rate quote was obtained for up to 60 days.
Plus, if we make changes that are favorable to your loan between the time of your quote and the time we receive your MI application (up to 60 days), we’ll use them for your MI submission.
Note: United Guaranty’s Secure Quote does not apply if the Property State, ZIP Code, Property Type, or Occupancy Status changes.
Please contact your local United Guaranty representative for more information.
