CA 2015-09: United Guaranty's MI Guide Security Certificate Upgrade
Effective December 7, 2015
Security is a top priority at United Guaranty. As part of our effort to keep our systems secure, we're updating security certificates in United Guaranty's MI Guide®.
A Note for Your Tech Team
As of December 7, 2015, United Guaranty's MI Guide will use SHA-2 secure certificates. If your systems do not support SHA-2 security certificates, you will see encryption failure notices when trying to connect to MI Guide.
This change may affect customers using older Web browsers or operating systems. Minimum requirements are:
- Operating Systems: Windows XP (Service Pack 3), Mac OS X 10.5.
- Web Browsers: Chrome 26, Firefox 1.5, and Internet Explorer 6 (with Windows XP Service Pack 3).
Please make sure your systems are compatible with SHA-2 certificates. If you can access our homepage, your system is compliant.
